Seriously, social media brand accounts are always a huge turn off regardless how hard they try to be relatable or “funny”.

Haha maybe a little too much of a 40k insider joke but holy shit it’s so on point. Ultramarines… You have to love them 🙃
So far it’s good and stable. But to be fair I only have it installed for about 3 weeks. Before that, I played with it in a virtual machine for a month. I decided to test it because I wanted a KDE focused Distro and OpenSuse was recommended to me. Watched this review and gave it a try. Quite happy so far but I may switch to Vanilla OS, should it get a KDE version. I ended up preferring Flatpaks anyway and a Distro that doesn’t allow me to accidentally bork my system, sounds good to my causal ears 😉.
I usually have all windows over 2 - 3 workplaces placed. You can see which windows are open in the dock with the bars to the right from the symbol icons and I use mostly alt + tab to circle between the 3 - 4 windows per workplace. And should I really need a view of all open windows, I can move the mouse to the top right corner and activate the overview 😉
Works for me.
Thanks 🙂
Okay a Megoosa would be pretty hilarious and equally terrifying. Have to share this with our DM 😁
Yup.
I agree. Learning new systems and getting out of your comfort zone can be refreshing 🙂 Good thing that my DM is patient with me.
How does that work when two instances can have communities/magazines with the same name?
Because the two communities are on different servers. !noncredibledefense@sh.itjust.works is on the sh.itjust.works instance/server (https://sh.itjust.works/c/noncredibledefense) and !noncredibledefense@lemmy.world, as an example, would be on lemmy.world (https://lemmy.world/c/noncredibledefense). They’re both different communities/subreddits with different mods/admins.
While this can be a little confusing at first, after a while 1 or 2 similar communities will became the mainstream ones where most traffic will go while the others will be way smaller and a little more niche.
Sorry that the link doesn’t work for you. Kbin is a different platform and I have no experience with it.
Just a little tip: If you use a browser (PC or mobile), you can simply write !noncredibledefense@sh.itjust.works and it will automatically convert the link so that people directly can subscribe regardless on which server they are.
Man I really miss the hide button to keep troll bait shit like this here out of my feed.
Haha this is great. That’s the kind of deep meaningful content, I want to see on c/Risa.
Of course, I too enjoy serious conversations on /c/Risa 🤡
Nobody de-federated. People saw that there was a the_Donald community on sh.itjust.works + a lot of people from said server defending it (“just ignore it bro”). That triggered probably bad memories ala spez defending t_D because of “VaLuABlE DiSCuSsIoN”, while they brigaded and harrased countless people during their time on Reddit. Some people got a little bit carried away and demanded de-federation and a couple of trolls throw gazoline in the fire.
Holy shit I spilled my water 😂
This. I don’t watch Discovery anymore because I couldn’t stand a lot of the characters but it had absolute nothing to do with progressive views.
I wonder how the Bad Place would appear for Cardassians…
What’s the problem here? That’s how I started with Linux.
