I find the nazis fascinating for their ability to co-opt symbols like the swastika. Could you imagine that happening today? Taking, for instance, the peace sign, punisher symbol, or Gadsden flag and turning them into quiet hate symbols?

The whole site has been in disrepair for the past 3 years, and with all the breaches and issues lately, this downtime included, you can see the result clearly.

If it makes you guys feel even better, just know that such failure to maintain software for so long, mostly complex and widely used like Xitter, means that it won’t get fixed easily at all. The knots are everywhere and will require even more time to untangle. Musk destroys everything he touches and I am at least happy about “this” one.

Musk will arrive on site any time now, and fix all of it with his chainsaw.
He just needs an extra dose of his meds first.

xAI bought X right? So maybe they can run it on all of those servers xAI is illegally powering with unapproved generators.

Geez, who would have thunk that a complex system needs to be maintained constantly… apparently not Elmo.

“But I only use twitter for ‘art’”, or “I just follow a few small communities” are the usual excuses these days.

I hear the same excuses as I did for Reddit, only I’d consider Twitter usage considerably less defensible :)
