He’s Johnny Depping it recently is all I’m saying. When I see a creature recently I can tell immediately when it’s Doug Jones because his characters all move the same way. Before he had more range, but more likely every director he works for wants him to do the same thing cause that’s what they know him for.
Secondly, what is with people like you? Why can’t we have a discussion and disagreement about a show we both like, without it immediately degrading to childish name calling and sarcasm? Would you behave that way if we were sitting on a table across each other, talking trek? Or is it the lack of human connection that is the internet that is making your comment so childish? If you can’t handle a fellow fan not feeling the same way as you about every detail of the show, you’re toxic.
I used sarcasm to deflect because you made me feel uncomfortable. I wasn’t talking about, nor was I interested in talking about, his recent acting choices or lack thereof. I made an innocuous, positive comment about him because I like who he appears to be as a person. There wasn’t an invitation there to debate his merits as an actor.
Doug Jones is a national treasure
I like him but recently he’s been doing the same character over and over in different costumes and it shows.
Oh no! My favorite actor playing my favorite character. Truly an awful time to live
