That’s annoying. Part of the reason for local media is reducing the amount of monthly bills

What’s the state of apps like kodi or other methods of local streaming on Apple TV?
Alphabet’s monopoly is bad, make no mistake.
But they aren’t controlling all electronic means of communication for 90% of the continental United States, as AT&T did in the ma’ bell and pa’ bell days.
Ever since that switch, I’ve just straight up used a discord bot. Hasn’t failed me yet!
That joke kinda sailed over your head there, mate
The only thing play protect has done “for” me lately was remove file access to Poweramp the day after I got it. Fuck Play Protect.
You mean we shouldn’t blindly trust random, almost entirely anonymous, users giving out executables to be run on the very same devices we do banking and important life paperwork on? Say it ain’t so!
God that’s accurate. Or how telling your phone to launch Kodi on the CCwGTV, it showing you feedback that recognizes the name (eg “Launch Kodi on Main Google TV”, but still coming back with, “I can’t do that”
You’re just launching an Android app! Don’t give me that bullshit!
With how Google marched backwards on cloud storage since the turn of the decade, GMail is getting even less promising. Once my wife and I finally move out of here, I’m going 100% self hosted, setting up my own email server, et al
I was facing a weird vampire dragon lord that was projecting and using his blood as a weapon and shield. He was in the process of using it to suffocate the party. In a fit of desperation, I googled “percent of water that makes up blood” and after seeing it was sufficiently high, I presented this prompt to the DM:
SO: we all know that blood is mostly water. In fact, it’s x% of it (can’t quite remember the amount…) So with that, I said I cast create or destroy water at 4th level to destroy 40 gallons of water from the blood
DM lets me, then says he has to roll some dice.
After a considerable amount of dice rolling sounds, he announces that the entire left side of the vampire went limp, and he fell out of the sky, dying rapidly. I saved the party by destroying some water as a 17th level encounter.
What do you use for a dedicated mp3 player? These days all I see are dying (flash chips) used SanDisk Sansa players, cheap Amazon ones, and super audiophile level $400 ones…
Wouldn’t this also kill every legitimate use of VPN? Like, what every fucking company uses between sites, for remote workers, etc?
“*arr stack”?
Pardon my off-topic reply, kbin lacks a Save function. Saved!
Isn’t that what tburkhol addressed in their first paragraph? Or are you suggesting further steps than just putting those devices behind NAT? I am not at all trying to be snarky, I actually want to know more about this.
I’m thinking that I might buy it once we have creation kit access and mods that add story and flesh out the game a la Fusion City Rising and companion mods for Fallout 4
