Yep that’s probably the one. Super depressing, especially all the anti-union tactics.

He is nothing but a narcissistic asshole.
Completely free trade works as well as unregulated capitalism in that it’s terrible for the consumers. You’ll always end up with a monopoly.
Simple. Let them get government handouts, by being nationalized.
Prompt “make this guy look like a North Korean hacker or something idk”
Don’t worry, if it had broken in Linux, these same posters would be railing on CrowdStrike directly, but since it broke on Windows, obviously Microsoft is to blame.
Keep dreaming. Maybe next year Linux on desktops will increase by another 0.2% and you can post hundreds of articles about how the “age of Linux” is coming… again.
Ok Russian comrade. Security in companies is terrible. You’re right. It’s just a giant grift.
Now, go buy some limited time offer fight fight fight shoes from agent orange.
Apple Maps sure had a rough start back in the day, but I will always use that over Google/Waze. It’s just so much better now and no worries about this type of junk.
Just FYI, there is still a FREE tier of VNC (now called Lite) that is for home use for up to 3 computers. So the only real change is going from 5 free to 3, which may work just fine for some.
You will need to “relicense” the 3 machines, but it’s pretty straightforward and you can even change the license while using the VNC connection itself.
Counterpoint, I love the Spotify Discover Weekly feature. I’ve found some great gems. As for random playlists, I like to find lists that other people have made based on different genres I may be in the mode to listen to. Finding and downloading songs, to me, is way more inconvenient than using Spotify.
It worked just as you described it, but having actual buttons helped use it in the car easier. The Car Thing was simply a remote control of sorts for Spotify using Bluetooth to connect to the phone. The phone itself is what connected to the Internet and your car.
I’m sure a phone mount would work, but I was just curious if there was something similar that others used.
For reference, I bought my Car Thing for about $50 in 2022 and was able to get 3 months of credit for my family premium plan ($17/mo x3 = $51), so in essence a complete refund.
As much as it sucks to lose the Car Thing, I’m happy with this outcome at least. Anyone recommend a good replacement for an older car?
So once a musician becomes popular, you switch to up and coming talent? Major hipster and superiority complex vibes from your posts.
Don’t research every small venue you visit to make sure it’s not part of some giant corporation?
You sound angry about the world.
Russian troll either being intentionally obtuse or a fool.
Stop the disinformation. Voting 3rd party in this general election is just going to help Trump and the fascists. You’re either a naive fool, or a disinformation agent.
And I bet you’re the kind of person who thinks “bOtH sIdEs ArE tHe SaMe”
Voting 3rd party in a primary is throwing your vote away, plain and simple. If we want better candidates, handily defeat the GOP so that it has no choice other than to ditch the completely fascist support, or collapse. That’s the only chance we have of getting more progressive candidates to vote for. Start in local elections, move to state, then get some of these people into higher office.
Hoping that suddenly the incumbent Democrat candidate will become a super progressive person at the 11th hour is just a fantasy.
It’s almost as if many of these people are just virtue signaling or falling for the propoganda. I don’t see any of these same commenters so vocally opposed to any of the other handful atrocities happening around the world, and yet they fail to think the next thought of what will the situation be like if Trump wins?
The fact that you unironically use the phrase “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” just shows how much of a muppet you are. It is physically impossible to pull yourself up by your bootstraps.
