Elect a bunch of socially minded white male leaders for a few terms and then you can move on to a progressive modern leader like a woman of colour
We haven’t jumped into the future yet … everyone still acts like deranged cavemen so don’t hope for dramatic changes to happen like eliminating racism to take place in the space of a hundred years.
Fellow Canadian here and I don’t like being overly harsh with my criticisms … but I’m with you on this.

I’ve always wanted to try a pu pu platter. My wife kept saying it was a dumb idea and for years we never ordered it. My local Chinese restaurant advertised a ‘Flaming Pu Pu Platter’ and I never cared what it would have tasted like, I just wanted to say I ordered it.
I finally decided on just ordering it one day and I told my wife I didn’t care, I’m getting it.
The lady who owned the place then told me that they got rid of it a year before because no one ordered it any more.

Like Molasses … like a thick pasty sugary burnt tar … almost like licorice but not quite there
But the modern stuff is not quite like the old original stuff from 30/40 years ago. The modern stuff is more like sugary taffy or flavourless caramel.
You either have gigabytes of memes ready to go or you have a great imagination … either way I salute you … and no I’m not kissing that mole ass … that sexy, sexy mole ass.
Yes! Those are the ones … can’t seem to find them any more. All they sell are the cheap sugar ones that I have a feeling is just colored sugar at this point. I know molasses is just sugar too but there is certain strong bitter flavor to it. The old stuff was actual molasses, thick and hard and when frozen (which often happened in the north during Halloween) could be used as a deadly projectile.
They used to be the last candy I would eat out of my Halloween stash. Now as a middle aged man, I still eat them, I still hate them … but they always make me think of Halloween as a kid.
I kept a dozen of them this year and I eat them just for the nostalgia.
My ladder is a broken mess that I’ve had to maintain and nurture for many years … they’re still in my garage and I’ll never let them go.
Dad died about ten years ago tho :(
Like I said … it’s all a hallucination.
I joke about this with my old friends who grew up in the 60s and 70s and tell me their wild stories of doing drugs marijuana, LSD, MDMA, and whatever else they had.
I tell them they’re still there and the trip hasn’t ended yet and they’ll wake up soon. I’m an illusion, this is all in your mind … you’ve been hallucinating the past 40 years.

No worries … If you are a minority, person of colour, follow a religion other than American Christian Nationalism, female, identify with some other sexuality than being straight … the new government that America just elected basically see you as nothing but a pebble.
