4·1 year agoI just watched captains holiday last night from tng season 3 and at least the ferengi “slovak” was recognizable as a ferengi. They seemed pretty figured out by that point. It was nice… the season one stuff was ridiculous.

Personally I liked Crusher more, albeit that may just because the familiarity. I thought the antagonism between polaski and data seemed to not fit any rational for a star trek officer. Seemed pretty unprofessional and needless.

2·1 year agoYour one of the only others that have agreed with me. You nailed the plot. I’m a dm, and I never thought of that!!! I don’t know why I like it so much. It’s like you said, not a good episode. Lol. I would like to see more of the wadi though.
I’ll be honest, it’s not tng but ds:9… I love “move along home” and I know it’s one of “those episodes”.

Season 3 is where it starts getting good. Who watches the watchers, booby trap, Ensigns of command, yesterday’s enterprise, captains holiday, the most toys, sarek, I mean seriously season three is fantastic. Your gonna love it.
1·1 year agoI use mine for my pihole and have been pretty happy. $40 bucks, tiny footprint and power consumption. I have a 3 from 2018. I get where your coming from but gonna need some sauce for your claims.

1·1 year agoI am committed to federated services from here on out. I am personally really liking lemmy… There are some minor annoyances but nothing major. The mobile browsing experiences makes me pretty cozy. With the dark theme it’s not too far from rif. Apps and plugins are coming that will make it that next special thing. Like I couldn’t imagine aliensite without old and res. It’s coming… I’m loving it.
