So glad you all agreed that you should use Linux instead :)
Isn’t this comparable to utilities you buy for smoking weed (talking about countries where it is still illegal) like a bong or a special grinder? They are only really used for doing something illegal but it is still legal to buy them.
Second that. It is a bit of a hassle to get all the games and to access them on the deck, but once you set that up, it runs great and you also are much less limited :)
Just FYI, yt-dlp does work with other sites, too. So you can get some pretty decent quality by downloading from bandcamp for example. But not all that what your asking for unfortunately…
OK, but how are personality disorders any different? And why would you think they aren’t real mental illnesses??
I’m not in the US, so no problem! But thanks for letting me know what else to look out for :)
Haven’t watched on fmovies before, thanks for the suggestion I guess :)
It depends very much how and why you pirate. I guess for many it is a hobby, they are data horders, etc. If you only stream pirated media online and use free cracked software like I mostly do, it is also totally free to pirate. But it costs you another resource then: time! So yes, piracy has a cost, the effort you have to put into it. It’s the same like trying to avoid the big five. Installing a custom os on your phone, blocking ads and intrusive trackers, selfhosting stuff etc all takes a lot of time and effort. So most people just pay for this stuff with their money or with their data out of convenience. When it gets too pricey, then they start finding alternatives. I would argue that we shouldn’t let convenience deter us from trying to be independent and having our sovereignty over our personal data respected.
Cringe!
Don’t feed the troll!
Another even easier only-online solution would be to install modded Spotify via xManager
On bandcamp! If I want to support artists, this is the site I always go to. And yt-dlp works also great on bandcamp when I’m not feeling so generous ;)
That depends totally on the reason you pirate stuff. What are your motivations behind pirating? There are probably a ton of different reasons people do it. I often see people bragging about it so I guess fragile masculinity is a main factor in pirating as well. Or like another commenter said, it could be to experience freedom.
To me, it seems like a political act to pirate stuff from large corporations but pay money for indie media and small creators. Just like I would shoplift in large supermarket chains while I would never shoplift in a small family-run store.
You can summarize that in just simply saying: capitalism is the problem. Just with anything else, capitalism doesn’t care to give us the best entertainment, it simply will benefit the ones with the most profit. So long we live under capitalism, this will be the underlying problem. Capitalism doesn’t care about what people want or need.
You mean I was scolding you because of the use of an angry emoji? Sorry, I meant to be angry at the use of the word not against you personally. And I did add something to the debate, namely the discussion about what words we use and how people may feel about them. Also, see the link in my previous reply.
ETA: I still have the feeling you are overly defensive for being criticized for using a derogatory expression. If you mean to tell me I should have done it in a nicer manner, than this is called tone policing, i.e. criticizing someone for how they express their critique instead of replying to the content if their critique and thus evading discussion of their own behavior.
English isn’t my first language either. Also, I’m autistic, so yes, I object to being told I had a disease. Although I didn’t even feel offended because I commented in good faith just trying to clarify.
Independent of this, if you choose to talk about marginalized groups of people you should at least consider what are slurs or discriminatory/pathologizing phrases and avoid them. This way you seem just too lazy to even try.
I agree, except for cases where the person saying the word is of the minority group itself. As an autistic individual I do find it funny to sometimes say that something is my autistic side, but I also get the joke and don’t make fun of autistic people.

I’ve been using two different (refurbished) Pixel phones with CalyxOS for over 3 years now. It is a really great experience :) And the photos the phones can take are great, too!
