Well that hasn’t stopped them before. I’m not entirely sure where and when it was that their claimed loss was more than the entire global economy.

It broke too many thumbs.
This is going to be like Gillette razors right?
I think most adults skip running through high grass in shorts is the answer.
I used to use ansible and helm, but it is overkill for my case. Today I basically use a combo of markdown and bash scripts, the combination of them allows me to run the scripts straight from my IDE.
I had the same idea a couple years back and even though I would love something that you download and just run and it would work, I realized that in order to get a decent adoption rate, you would need a whole ecosystem, similar to apple in order for it to work.
I still think you can develop something like a hub where you install services like apps, but I doubt it would attract anyone outside selfhosting circles.
This is how I see God, pretty sure it applies to seeding as well.
There are several things you can and should do to harden your server, many of them can be found here.
Here’s a short list of things I personally want
The fact that the whole phone is a unit is both absurd and stupid. It makes it nearly impossible to repair or replace anything but the screen. I cannot even remember how many phones I have been forced to recycle due to the fact that the battery no longer hold charge over time.
Storage might not be a big thing, most of us probably use cloud storage, but I don’t want cloud storage with a subscription fee, when it would be easier (and cheaper) to have storage directly in my phone.
I’m going to say it - fuck bluetooth! Every day it’s: will it connect? Do I have to re-pair? Is the sound really coming out of my headphones only or do everyone around me here what I hear?
Sweet, can’t wait to run kubernetes on my phone /s
This is simple, Netflix was almost there a decade ago, but they decided to start producing shitty geo-locked content and adopt a shitty price model.
Minimum 10:1 ratio always
You could look into apps like authelia, keycloak, authentic, etc.
I keep coming back to connect. I find it offers the best feature set currently.
I run my self hosted stuff on a k3s cluster at home on bare metal, then use cloudflare to protect the IP and access only by VPN.
I’d love to get my hands on something similar to the nexus 4a or even the xiaomi mi 8. I really hate the form factor of the later nexus series.
