For that you can use andronix, it allows you to install a distro on a proot, I’ve been using it for a while it’s quite nice
As someone studying tech, yes please, give me the dummest most rudimentary car with no computer or servos. I don’t want general motors to gather my biometrics or a script kiddy to disable my steering. Dumb technology is best always. Fuck that android auto bs or whatever abomination the manufacturer adds. Just want a speaker with an aux cord so I can listen to my flacs
How many children have died to school shootings the last 10 years compated to children dying due to kinder eggs
It’s not just small phones. Getting a decent small tablet is impossible now
Not from the US am from Ecuador . In my numerical analysis class my professor showd us how to pirate mathlab the first class and gave us a bunch of pdfs so we wouldn’t have to buy any books. I already had my bf’s uni’s licence so i didn’t do that but I did dabble with octave a bit on my Linux laptop. Piracy is so widespread in public universities here that nobody thinks about it as being wrong. Personally I always believe that piracy is the tool for the democratization of knowledge. I wouldn’t know half of the stuff I know if it wasn’t for pirated books. It’s literally the reason a lot of us in south America can scape poverty.
Ipv6 doesn’t need port forwarding
Can’t wait for ipv6 to take over
Me literally seing this through fiber in a third world country
Déluge on my desktop, qbittorrent on my laptop and libretorrent on my android
I started using it on my desktop the day qbittorrent decided to just randomly die and refused to be reinstalled
It’s a mix of both. On my windows gaming rig I have ms office, photoshop sketchup and fl studio pirated. I haven’t found a good foss alternative for photoshop, sketchup or flstudio (using gimp is worse than being an actuall gimp ). On my Linux laptop I’ve been using more and more foss. I’m getting use to Libre office but it doesn’t do everything I need. Switched chrome for Firefox, vscodium as a code editor, waydroid for Android apps
Yes, you have to use a vnc client to connect to it as if you were connected to an external server.
