Maybe for the generic cat/dog image sharing boards but niche topics like machining are still thriving.

3am… Need to be up in 4hrs…
Imma need me some 4 fairy soup.
I wonder if that shares the same physics as silvent’s compressed air guns.
Silvent’s air nozzles reduce the sound level when blowing with compressed air compared to blowing through open pipes. This is due in part to the reduction in noisy turbulence from using Silvent’s air nozzles, and also because of the nozzles’ special design. Silvent’s air nozzles pass the compressed air through small holes and slots, which raises the sound to frequencies beyond what the human ear can perceive. This allows us to make blowing with compressed air both quiet and efficient.
Could use an even quieter compressed air gun
Not sure what else this meme is doing other than actively creating a bigger divide between the genders…

Neural Impulse Actuator or brain-computer interface.
Just because you never heard of it doesn’t mean it hasn’t existed…
released in 2008
You don’t even need to be inserting probes to be able to do that…
OCZ had this ‘toy’ out in 2008.

one of the reviews…
Ultra-sensitive, excellent response time. Partial hands free gaming. Cool looking blue LED glow from interface box. This is the future of computer user interface. While designed primarily for FPS games, works exceptionally well with MMOs. Makes Crysis WARHEAD and FarCry 2 a joy to play. As a disabled person, this unit has allowed me to game with all the “normal” folks on the same level.
OCZ back in the day (2008) had a brainwave game controller… didn’t need surgery for that.
A couple old metrology equipment dated back from the 80s I still use calls them ‘mil’. It’s got dual dials for mil/mm. Gets me confused sometimes because the gauge can go down to couple millionths of an inch/couple 10s of nanometers.
LVDT for those curious.
If Red Bull can be successfully sued for false advertising from their slogan “It gives you wings”, I think it stands that Tesla should too.
Took me a couple glances to notice the second keyboard. Is that comfortable?
Semi-related note… displayport cables can cause a no-boot condition too. I think it was the existence of Pin#1. I had to duct tape that one pin and my computer finally booted up.
If your power consumption is actually 250 then go for a 500w PSU. You’ll get better efficiency.
Anandtech (rip) used to be my go-to for PSU efficiency curves.
