Oh you need to see the fight from “They Live” if you haven’t. Classic 80s era fight that just goes on for WAY too long. So many times of “Now Ive won. Take THAT.” “RRRRAH” fight immediately starts again

Actually yeah now that you mention it, it does sound like something out of a renaissance festival where they’re setting up a scheduled show lol.
“Dirty Dave I’m calling you out! You and I are going to have a duel to the death! At 12:00 in the town square! Right in front of the Hootenanny Stage! Be there to see who is the winner! Tips welcome!”
I’ll just add to this, 9mm, or any handgun really, is still very loud. The reason it doesn’t seem as loud is because when most people are shooting there are two main things happening.
Again it’s still really loud, but the context of where the sound is being made does make a difference. Obviously larger rounds will be louder, but that doesn’t mean rounds like 9mm are safe for your ears at all.
I long for the days where movies would tell you it’s night time but still actually keep it light enough that you can, y’know watch the movie
They don’t care to do anything about those
Isn’t there a whole big deal about Fred Meyer merging with them and some anti monopoly bs going on?
Yeah see it’s not surge pricing! We actually lower prices whentheresnobodyintheaisle so that the discounts are passed on to you! Also we list the lowered price in the ads and apps so when you come in you can be surprised by power of our tech! and the updated price
I always thought there was supposed to be some kind of PPE or cleanup team that has to do that. Thankfully never had it at any of my old retail jobs but one of my friends said at their grocery store they basically just had a high powered hose they blasted everything down with then went after with sanitizer
Yeah but physical activity will make you feel better. That’s not why we’re here man get with it.
I think I can speak for most Americans (and as someone who owns stocks) fuck the shareholders.
Technically they don’t gain money no, but they get:
It’s why a company donating their product is always better for them than a regular person donating cash. They are effectively still making money it’s just this time they are making money specifically to pay off their taxes.
Not to mention a lot of eggs in one basket. They’ve built in a lot more redundancies now yeah, but all it takes is a hit to AWS and a shitload of the internet is just DOA. Yeah you can argue about protections and data centers or whatever, but still. It’s one big nest in control of one company, no matter how well they guard it, it’s still a risk, technical, ethical, or whatever.
Also sounds like you had a crappy realtor. If you’re using a realtor, get them to work for you, that’s what they’re for. Give them the specs of the house you’re looking for, sure, but they should be calling you with listings, vetting the homes before they show them to you, handling negotiation relays and inspection setups, etc.
Just general advice, yes you pay them, but if they aren’t working for you, pay someone else.
The thing I tell people is that as a parent, you are going to put maybe a few hours into blocking them from getting to stuff. They are then going to spend as much time as they want trying to get through it. You can dig through concrete with a spoon if you’re patient enough.
Educate them, and give them access when they’re responsible enough
I mean it was already overpriced for what it was, and it was only really good/popular during covid. A lot of people now will either go to the gym for classes or just get a bike without a $12-$49 monthly fee. I just can’t wait to see how long until they lock the wheels without a subscription
I have a friend who open carries everywhere as well. We do not live in a dangerous area at all and he carries this thing to the grocery store.
I call it his “big boy gun” because it makes him feel like he’s a big boy now, like a kid who wears his “big boy” pants with no diapers.
Eh, it’s also a bit of a teaching opportunity with kids. A decent parent will teach kids which things are okay to hit and which ones aren’t, and this is something that can help with that. Someone’s probably going to get hit once or twice yeah. But kids also get mad when they can’t stick forks in outlets. I don’t see this toy being any worse than a sword or gun toy.
