Earlier this year I had a connection in Doha, Qatar on my way to the US. I had to go through security twice even though it was a connection from another international flight (first was after getting off the first flight and the second was right before getting on second flight). Both times they took away all liquids, even those bought in the airport.
Do they test everyone’s shoes or do you just have to be extremely unlucky?
My mom got one but she upgraded from a 3 so it’s a big improvement. I got an 8 a couple month ago and see no reason to upgrade. Most of the changes seem to be AI related with very minor hardware improvements.
I wish more creators were on nebula. I would like to support them on patron but $5+ a month per channel adds up really quickly.
I have, it works better on Fedora than PopOS or ubuntu. There’s actually a fix for the 17 inch version of my laptop in the main kernel, but it explicitly mentions the full model number so doesn’t apply to my 13 inch version. I spent a long time trying and failing to figure out how to build a kernal with a patch for my model.
I switched to Linux on a laptop of mine because an update to windows caused it to not boot.
Now I get to deal with my keyboard backlight not working, sometimes the keyboard freezing on resume, my Bluetooth not connecting on the first try, and my wifi sometimes not working, but it boots fine every time.
When I dropped my pixel 5a the screen looked like a TV in a horror film. Were they lying for warranty purposes? Otherwise I can’t see a reason not to tell a repair shop what actually happened.
“Blood is thicker than water” is up there. The full saying is “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb” which means that family isn’t the most import thing.
Someone needs to convince US Banks of this
I would send them a jar from an animal in the Icelandic Phallological Museum. They never specified the species.
My first smartphone was the Motorola Droid 2 and it could easily be over clocked from 600 MHz to 1200 MHz. The dynamic overclocking even helped the battery life. I miss the keyboard, it was great for playing old video games on emulators.
A US gallon is 3.785L which makes a fifth 757 ml. A pint is 1/8 gallon so ~473 ml.
An imperial gallon is 4.54609L which makes a fifth 909ml and a pint 568ml.
If your bartender is giving you 200ml pints you’re really getting ripped off.
The Motorola Droid 2 was my first smartphone and I sorely miss that slide out keyboard with dpad.
I sadly became one of those people last year. I had every intention of keeping my Pixel 5A for a long time but when faced with a $250 repair bill I bought a used pixel 6 for $240 instead of fixing it. I do regret it because the battery life and antenna on the 6 is awful compared to the 5a.
If only google would stop blocking display out on pixels.
Unfortunately the 5a was the last pixel with a headphone jack.
Will there be any battery improvements? My Pixel 6 could use some (I miss the battery life of my 5a, RIP).
Is your feeling based on the fact that you can only get driving directions offline (not even walking!)?
