If you’re on kde you have kde connect (or gsconnect for gnome or zorin connect for zoran os) which is a lot more versatile than this. I know it’s not the same but it’s excellent.

I feel like 10 to 15 years we wouldn’t let this shit fly, but nowadays we’ve become so complacent and just let companies stomp all over us. Phones keep getting more expensive and (in my opinion) worse and yet they break sales records.

I have it on z fold 4 and with Magisk, Zygisk, Play integrity Fix, Shamiko I’m able to use it fine. Today I got the message that my phone doesn’t meet the “security requirements” even though I passed safetynet and couldn’t use it. I was ready to disown anything Google, but then I updated Play Integrity Fix and everything is working now.

They should sue Google, Microsoft and other search engine owners because they’re facilitating piracy as well. They lead you to illegal software.

Nokia XR21 has IP69k and headphones jack. Galaxy Xcover6 pro has removable battery, headphone jack, and micro SD slot with IP68. S10e has IP68, headphone jack and SD card slot.

I don’t buy that headphone jack and SD card slot must disappear to achieve water resistance. They removed them because it was cheaper to produce and make you buy more expensive phone with bigger storage and wireless headphones once the battery degrades.

Did everyone forget that Galaxy S5 exists with headphone jack, removable battery and water resistance?
