I think people here assume everyone’s a computer person. I know how to get windows on a pc for free and it works fine. If anything ever goes wrong I just re put windows on my pc again and bam it’s new. I don’t have 5000 terabytes of anime I’m afraid of losing that’s separated across 20 different solid state drives. I stream shit or just re download it in like 720p so it’s fast. Windows works fine. I promise you my life will not be affected in the slightest when some criminal makes off with my recall database lmfao.

Yeah trust me I wouldn’t have done it with anyone else. I’ve known the guy since elementary school. There is more to the apartment than the closet but my friend doesn’t use it as it’s shared space with his father (who isn’t nice). So my friend sticks to the closet and Freddy spends most his time in there too. His litter box is in the hallway outside

Have a friend who is depressed and lives in a closet. No I’m not joking, the closet is a walk in and fits a small bed/desk/pc. That’s it, no windows. Skylight in the ceiling but it has a garbage bag taped over it. The mattress goes part way up the wall because room is small but it provides something to lean against. I gave him my cat a few years ago when I had to move and couldn’t take him. The cat still loves there 3 years later and my friend is happier than he was without Freddy

Good thing you never touched it. What your boss did is possible and if he really understands what he is doing and is not connected to the grid then he can do it. But for any ordinary homeowner absolutely do not try this. You could burn your house down or even worse kill some poor lineman/electrician working on the problem somewhere else on the grid who isn’t expecting the equipment he’s working on to go live out of nowhere.
