Appreciate the comment. Yeah I had a thought for whatever reason I may be stuck with it unlocked but it’s whatever. I can just plug it in every few months to update, it’s no big deal. Wouldn’t want to risk bricking the device since those commands did not work

I don’t know if I’m missing something but I can’t get it to relock. All I did was unlock the bootloader and try to flash TWRP but I couldn’t manage it with a Mac. So I gave up pretty quick and now just have an unlocked bootloader. I’ve tried to relock it but I’ve been having no luck. In the terminal on my Mac it shows up as fastboot and adb devices as it should but when trying to do the relock commands it just fails. It’s been a couple months since I last tried but I find it annoying having to use smart switch to update now.

If you’re curious I can try it again and figure out the error again. I was curious if I was missing something which is why I posted this

Yeah. There’s an option with blue bubbles on the Mac that keeps it awake. I just always keep the lid open

I own a Mac and a pixel 8. I use blue bubbles. It works great. Don’t have any issues with it. When you send messages through it, it goes through your email associated with your iCloud account

Yeah my pi 4 works perfectly with Plex. The only issues I have with Plex is the apps on certain devices. For example on my Xbox it will stutter on a 4k movie but my TV app works fine. It’s pretty uncommon though. Also works great for everyone else I have on it. Just have them set the quality to original in the settings and smooth sailing from there. Barely uses any power from it. I can have multiple 4k HDR streams at one time

I think you’re looking at the “don’t drink alone” the wrong way. I think it means that if you drink alone it’s much more likely to become a habit and in turn become a problem than if you just drink with others

For me it’s remote streaming. I have friends and family on my plex and it’s so easy to get them going. Getting jellyfin isn’t even possible on devices they use along with even making remote streaming work and having them be able to figure out how to make it work

I ended up using racknerd. Used the same script and it worked perfect. It was $14 total for a year and 4tb a month which is all I need. There was a few dollar extra options for my network space. Once I bought it I got it all setup in like 20 mins and that includes activation for the vps

Yeah I think I’ll just use digital ocean. It has 1tb per month and I think that will get me by with no problem. Only $4 a month also which is cheap enough for me
