They’re doing what??
Fingers crossed that the changes to the MM and the DMG are more substantial.
To be honest if its gonna take really any effort at all to learn a new edition, myself (and I think a lot of other DMs) are going to look very seriously at other D&D-alike games.
Shadow of the Weird Wizard, the new MCDM RPG, Shadowdark, Pathfinder 2e, the new Kobold Press RPG (is it still called Black Flag?), etc etc.
There has never been a better time to look at other tabletop RPGs as it seems for once WotC have a load of real competition.
Digital cook books (either in PDF or on Kindle) are amazing on a tablet.
Also, any other kind of PDF. Way better for D&D rulebooks (or other rpg games).
Also comics, video, youtube, etc.
Important to note that if you backed Flee, Mortals! you get the lairs pdf for free once it’s released.
The reddit op isn’t gonna come over to lemmy and yell at you :) just copy it and leave a link. This is no different than posting a screenshot of a tweet or similar.
Why do you think they do? Logically think it through.
Market sharen and incumbent advantage. Ease of adoption (or appearance of). Ubiquity and lack of need to retain. Predatory behaviour by MS. Different priorities for users.
Unless you actually consider the real reasons why Windows is so widespread you’ll never make a dent in it.
