Sugar, cinnamon, and butter on spaghetti is amazing (sans meat, herbs, and spaghetti sauce, in case it needed to be said). It doesn’t taste like spaghetti; it tastes like dessert.

All clocks in my home must be perfectly synced with atomic time. I will sit there and wait until the very last moment before hitting the button to confirm the time on the microwave/stove/wall clock/etc., so that it doesn’t change over to the next minute until it’s supposed to.
The irony is that the rest of my life is in complete chaos due to having untreated ADHD. Keeping accurate time is the one thing I care about having in order. Thankfully DST doesn’t exist where I live so I rarely have to re-sync everything more than once every couple of years or so.
Which is why it’s such a strange request. Why splurge on an 8K TV if you’re only going to watch 4K video on it?
I could never beat the first level when I was a kid. But I played that game over and over and enjoyed every minute of it.
It is to me.
Unlikely because we already have .website
How people with ADHD feel every single day.
Life is too overwhelming and I’m always burnt-out. Every single day. Even if I’m doing absolutely nothing, I’m tired all the time and never have any motivation ever. The worst part is that people accuse me of just being lazy and uncaring, even my own lover. They don’t understand what it’s like and never will.
Even if I take medication, it wears off and eventually stops working entirely. So not only do I feel even more depressed and overwhelmed, now I have an Adderall addiction as well. So I stop taking it, go the next few months feeling the most miserable I ever have in my life, decide to start taking it again so that I can be a functional adult, tolerance kicks in after a coupe of days… Rinse and repeat until I die.
Yeah but it works. I rather take my chances with an unknown substance than live a life of misery.
They do but if you want to actually sanitize your dishes, the heater alone isn’t going to cut it.

To be fair, if you have a home lab setup (or even a simple server), you’re not the average computer user.

Same. Water heater is on the opposite side of the house from the kitchen sink. I have to run the sink for several minutes just to run the dishwasher, which is annoying as hell. I hate how much water have to waste just for the dishwasher to get hot enough to clean effectively.
You can fix the issue by installing a pump on your water heater, but that’s a project that I’m saving for when I need a new one in a few years.

That’s why I use nootropics instead of caffeine. Specifically this stuff. (Ingredients)
No jitters, just dopamine. Slows my brain down, takes away the depression, and allows me to actually get shit done instead of sitting in front of the computer all day. A full capsule is too much, but they’re easy to open and extract the powder. I get 2-3 doses from a single pill.
The effects of this particular blend I take are extremely similar to Adderall. It feels like it literally turns off my ADHD for a few hours. Unfortunately, it’s so similar to Adderall that it also has a similar comedown. But for a brief moment, it allows me to be a functional adult, and for that reason alone it’s worth it.
I’m not an Apple fanboy, nor have I ever purchased one of their products (and I don’t plan to), but I’m actually fine with this because there are lots of USB-C mice and keyboards on the market these days in every price range. At the very most, you might have to buy a different cable because the ones I’ve bought tend to come with USB-C to USB-A cables instead of C to C. But eventually that will change as USB-A is inevitably phased out.
What the hell are you talking about? I push the power button every single day on my PC. I’m aware that wake on LAN is a thing, but your average computer user doesn’t utilize that feature. And only a psychopath who doesn’t care about their power bill nor the environment would leave their PC running 24/7.
Edit: Thanks for the insight. You were right, I was wrong. My bad.
TIL it’s I2P and not L2P
