Photons exist, so there is the perspective of a photon. Most may not be absorbed but that’s irrelevant because some are. And when they are, their perspective - like them - ends. Like yours does when you die.

The photon does not experience time, but we do, so from our perspective they can be emitted and absorbed even though from their perspective they are timeless. Again, like us. Before you were born, you didn’t experience being not alive. From your own perspective, you’ve always existed, even though from the perspective of someone older than you, there was a time when you didn’t.

How exactly is it racist?

Getting sick in the USA is like going to one of those fancy restaurants where the prices aren’t on the menu and are always a lot higher than they should be, eh.

Should cars be required by law not to let you drive to drug deals? Should glasses be required by law not to let you read banned books? Should testicles be required by law not to produce government-unsanctioned sperm?

That really is amazing. But why did we previously think that the T-Rex’s eyesight was terrible, then (as seen in the first Jurassic Park movie)?

How do we know anything about their visual acuity or sense of smell?

The problem is that we suck at allocating productivity. For example, we produce enough food for everyone but don’t distribute it half as well as we should, so people still starve while food rots somewhere else. We waste resources propping up a whole host of parasites that add no value to society, such as famous-for-being-famous celebrities, advertisers, speculators and redundant managers, while underpaying the people who actually produce wealth. And we want a brand new iPhone every year, a brand new car every two years, etc, and by and large don’t recycle. We’re wasteful.

Most of the actually important and time-consuming work is automated already. If we were smart about what work we do, an 8-hour work week for everyone would be more than possible. But we are so inefficient with our productivity due to warped priorities that most of us barely scrape by as it is.

There are so many games out there and my waitlist has already grown so long that I feel no problem in completely ignoring any game that has Denuvo. Odds are it’d be so long before I got around to it that the hype would be gone anyway.
