It’s so weird that Google’s phone has been the most accessible for unlocking your phone. Oneplus used to be good too, but then they became bad in that area too and now custom rom scene seems dead for newer Oneplus phones.

I stopped after season 2 and choose to only remember the first season, since ending to season 1 is a pretty satisfying wrap up the series. Season 1 is a fantastic standalone mini series.
I’d love to see that happen. At the very least security updates. It’s a shame when a device stops getting updates rendering it an insecure device despite the hardware still being capable of quality performance. Especially with phones costing more than laptops.
Yeah, I would prefer being able to do a back up image of the phone and save it to my computer and then hand it in after doing a factory reset. Then just restore it when I get the phone back. Android sucks in this department compared to Apple.
Mobile games don’t become as lucrative as it is without mtx. People understand the business reason, but it doesn’t mean it shields it from criticism. Doesn’t need defending either, since as you said money is enough to not care. You don’t really start doing that stuff if you care about perception, so I say good for them monetarily speaking. But, that’s the extent of my praise.
Personally I avoid videos with variations of the open mouth, confused face, and disappointed look these days. It’s just the area of YouTube I’ve gotten tired of, and those videos usually tend to be pretty shilly playing to the algorithm and tend to be from bigger channels. I understand why its done, but it doesn’t shield from criticism. Anyways good for them, but it has manifested in a way where because the algorithm is what dictates the product it feels like AI in a way where the presentation style gets tiring.
Basically don’t download apks from telegram.
Yeah, these are not company run sites with monetization plans. People saying they’ll show them by leaving is funny, since these instances cost money as opposed to making money so I don’t think they’ll be sad about less overhead. People here aren’t paying customers but guests being invited to use another person’s instance over self hosting their own.
If people want uninterrupted access to this instance they can sign up to this instance, self host, or look for instances located in a country with less strict laws that might lower chances of defederation from here?
Why isn’t this the official emoji style for all phones. It should just all be turtles.
That’s a quality emoji. All emojis should have a turtle present.
Okay? I wasn’t asking about other people, but expressing something I expected to be a basic function. And it was an Android phone I was talking about not an iPhone.
The comment chain talking was discussing how Apple will make things slightly less functional for products that aren’t Apple. Not an inquiry about how others use Apple products.
Okay. Good for you. But that wasn’t my complaint. It’s that it just works on Windows or Linux.
Including the most basic task of plugging in an Android phone to access files on MacOS. It just works on Linux or Windows, but with MacOS I had to go the extra step of having to download and install Android File Transfer. And then wasn’t even able to preview pics from the phone storage and had to move the files to the PC.
Apple probably wants people to go I should get an iPhone. But, given the experience of how it just works on Windows and Linux my thought was wow Apple is shit at compatability with everything that isn’t Apple.
I have a TV with Android TV and casting stopped working, and found out Google requires signing into the TV with an account now? I didn’t feel like doing that so started using airplay which TV supports too.
I am curious at the comment and submission rate of the people signing up to a subscription to use reddit. I’m picturing super power users.
Good old trusty usb cable still one I can rely on at least.
Isn’t Apple involved in ads too?
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/15/apple-reportedly-plans-to-put-ads-in-more-apps-on-your-iphone.html
In my use of iOS it was harder to avoid ads, since apps didn’t have a warning like ‘Contains ads’. And it not allowing side loading meant it was harder to find foss alternatives. Of course compared to Android they are way better when it comes to privacy, but I’m sure how truly private they are since they are collecting data all the same.
Do you need to be signed into an account in the device you are sending it content to in order to use the wifi direct feature?
Wow that’s layout is so good the entire thing looks like a normal wallpaper. Really good job on the icons.
I’ve preferred firefox on Android, since it doesn’t refresh on me when I minimize it as often as other browsers.
