Work at a tech store; the technicians that build the PCs for customers recently tried building with the new Core Ultra 7 256K. Two processors were dead or unstable right out of thr box. Tried with known good RAM, two different cpus on two different motherboards. It seems that Intel hasn’t really fixed their stability issue, which should be their first concern.
Ah, fair! For me, the switching between music and oration would be a bigger distraction than one or the other on their own.
Genuine question, why not try different podcasts? There are a variety of subjects, and plenty that are current events/news related for niche communities. That doesn’t mix music between episodes, but let’s you find discussions on topics you’re interested in.

I grew up in an area that was fairly dark. Probably somewhere between Bortle class 3 and 4 when I was young.
When I went backpacking in the Rockies, it was like nothing I had ever seen before. The night sky is vast and beautiful, and so full of lights and color. Constellations are hard to make out because there are so many dots to look at, rather than the light being too faint to make out.

Because even if they gave your paper bills back separate from the coins, if your other hand is so occupied with the items you purchased, how were you going to get the bills in your wallet anyway?
Counterpoint, if the customer places the money on the counter for payment, how is there any issue if the cashier returns change by placing it on the counter?

So I understand the first one, if you don’t want an app open handling them. I still usually just open email or calendars when I want to check them, and close the tab again after, but also don’t have a job that requires me to constantly monitor them.
The second point I guess I do as well in short term, but more whatever I am actively, currently try working on. I’ve never needed a long term organization for that, though, since it was always more like having several loose leaf papers spread on my desk and less like putting multiple bookmarks in a book and coming back to it over several hours or days. If there’s no need to use it in the next 20 minutes or so, I just bookmark and close it.
The third I just really don’t grok. Maybe I just really need a tidy browser workspace, but I usually have one, maybe two tabs open at a time when I’m not actively using them and referencing between them. I dont have any tabs that can be forgotten, because I close them immediately after I use them and no longer need them right now.
I guess it is no different than having bookmarks for everything, except I can hide those. I just hate the “look” of a bunch of tabs open (as a personal preference).
So genuine question, what are the benefits or reasons for having multiple tables open rather than saving as bookmarks or links? It just doesn’t make any sense to me but seems to be pretty common for people to do any more and I want to understand
