Seriously. USA is like the generic video game starter character before anyone’s had a chance to customise it and level up. At all. And I say that as someone who lives here.
If you see me somewhere please let me know. I’ve no idea where I went.

Same, but I always read it in Nandor’s voice from What We Do in the Shadows
Yeah he tried getting into business but when that didn’t work out he started yelling at clouds.
The Former Guy. He was in Home Alone, starred in some reality show and sold steaks for a while.
It’ll be fun while it lasts.
Yup, that Open Args deep dive into chevron deference was an eye opener and called this one years ago. Sucks AT turned out to be That Guy.
You’re right, of course. Patent illustrations traditionally show the item only from behind.
Rockbox is a bad benchmark due to its insane versatility. Just because modern players “should” support something doesn’t mean the manufacturer put the work in to do so, or even do it well.
That said, when I buy a portable music player the decision is always based on whether or not there’s a Rockbox port for it.
With all his meddling it’s not even the Twitter of the US anymore
“SLAMMED” SLAMMED!
Millions of people not voting because it would take millions of people voting to elicit positive change and nobody is doing that is one of the most frustrating things.
I watched this Futurama episode back when it aired and was disappointed to see this reference make it to the screen. It wasn’t clever and they spent too much time on it. The term “cringe” has managed both to come into and go out of vogue in the intervening years.
I will say, I frame based on the subject & purpose of the video. Leaving aside platform requirements (TikTok’s vertical-only format), I don’t mind shooting vertical if it’s a 1-person eye-level video, especially if I need to get their whole figure in the shot. More than 1 person and it’s horizontal.
What I seethe with rage at are the idiots who shoot historical events (tsunamis, daring rescues, sporting events or any fast action) vertically and then firehouse the camera back & forth trying to capture the action. Those people should be smacked and their phones taken away.
Did everyone leave to start their own Futurama community with blackjack & hookers?
I also have to use it for work. I don’t know if it’s Adobe, or Windows 11, or a toxic combination of both, but not a single day goes by where I can just create without things randomly breaking. Illustrator stops letting me drag with the direct selection tool. Premiere switches to hotkeys as I’m typing text. InDesign…actually InDesign has been behaving.
But literally all the other Adobe apps will break AS I’M USING THEM - like, an action I’ve literally just done suddenly doesn’t work or glitches out. A couple weeks ago Premiere and Photoshop would literally crash on open. The day before they were both fine.
I have Gimp, Inkscape, and KdenLive installed just in case.
