Wild to see a Plan9 distro. What do you use it for? Hobby projects, distro surfing, etc?

It is called nookZax. According to the readme it re-implements the interpreter used on Zax hardware for text games. Honestly I need to look into more of this myself, as I’ve never dealt with software that old directly.

Still using mine as well. I used to browse Reddit and RSS feeds on it, but have gone back to just using it as an e-reader. I am planning to give that text game emulator a spin. I use ReLaunch, but I’m still on the system reader. How is AlReader? Is it worth the switch?

That would be a great development. I’ve always disliked Google’s bizarre restriction on video out.

Indeed, for what was such a dark, dangerous journey at times it was nice to have someone around who brings some pep.

While I love gadgets, I hate the support cycles. These things should last for years, but support will get cut much sooner.
