The A1x series has always been very low budget, slow, etc, anyway, in 6 years the phone will be unusable.
On modern android, it’s about impossible without rooting your phone
yeah, on previous phones I played cat-and-mouse with magisk and all kind of patch to have Wallet work, but it breaks every 2 or 3 weeks and you have to chase down how to re-fix it…
can we use Google Wallet to tap pay with an unlocked bootloader?
Same for PoCo ? It seems the PoCo F3 is one of the phone with the most custom ROM development on XDA, very popular.
Well, I have for 3 years now a PoCo F3 with MIUI, and HyperOS now, and never had an ads or bloatware, in the first hour I got the phone, I just uninstall/disabled some apps and didn’t consent on the “miui” stuff, that’s it.
TOS of course, will never skip it
It will be what? $1000? And the problem with Motorola in general is their update. One Android update, some security ones, and that’s it.
As soon as you unlock your bootloader and root, you have to install magisk and random fix-of-the-day to fix Google Wallet/Pay. It’s a pain in the ass, it works for a few days/weeks and it’s a catch game too often, it’s boring, really.
I’m using irplus, you can easily create/save/load IR files to emulates all possible remotes, takes them from https://github.com/irplus-remote/irplus-codes.github.io
At least! Having this on screen is always ugly :

So an Antutu score of about 500k, which is pretty low :-/ It depends on the price of the phone, $299 ?
Everything is good except ram, 4GB is unfortunately not enough on 2024 because apps are bloated
Of course, it was even included with my phone
Why need a headphone jack? You can use the €1 small usb-c to 3.5mm jack and that’s it
I bought a PoCo F3 2 years ago for something like €279, it is still a bomb, super fast and powerful, but this X6 Pro is tempting!!!
Were you using Firefox? On my phone, FF browser takes ~5% battery per hour, even if I force close it, there is some background task eating battery. I uninstall it and bam! No more 40% drain during the night but only 2-3% drain in 8 hours.
If there’s a browser, then just put the tablet in landscape for instance, in kiosk mode if available, then load the web page you want to display like http://192.168.2.148/weather.html and add the auto-refresh in the html header of your web page or use dhtml etc
no clue, I am on HyperOS. But there is all the popular one like Lineage or Pixel
