It is unspeakably bizarre to me that people who know how to turn on a computer forgot that Gates is Satan’s personal programmer at some point during the 21st century. I take it as an article of faith and my younger Millennial and Zoomer friends think I’m bullying a nice old man.
Probably both. A lot of games really do suck ass. CoD is just comically bad in so many ways.
There’s some cool stuff out there, though. battlebit is aces, better than any CoD or Battlefield in years. Hunt Showdown is unqiue and cool. Darktide is an awesome horde shooter. Warframe… is warframe. Deep Rock Galactic is fun spacedorf action. Splitgate mixes up old school HALO:CE gameplay with portals that let you pull off cool kills or radically change the movement rountes across the map. There’s ARMA3 and Reforger if you like milsim, with varyiung levels of milsimminess from “Sir yes sir” tryhards to people who just try to use basic infantry tactics and cooperate. There’s apparently a huge star wars mod scene right now.

The distance from Atlanta to LA is about the same as the distance between Paris and Beirut. There is somewhat less linguistic diversity on the Altanta/LA route than the Paris/Beirut route (because of the genocide).
Well in fairness if you came to America and saw what a depraved, decaying shithole it is after being raised on a diet of airbrushed American media you’d probably be appalled, too.
I can’t count how many stories I’ve heard of people visiting from civilized parts of the world and breaking down crying in the street when they see how American’s treat homeless people.

Seconded. Enclosing the commons and doing a little primitive accumulation to actual knowledge. Love when a private corporations own colors, random snippets of genome, common words and phrases, and endless inventions that they’re squatting on to ensure they don’t compete with their own products.
