I use bookmarks for stuff that I know that I will some day in the future want to go back to. I don’t bookmark every link I open, because I want my bookmarks to only have the “good stuff”, ie. stuff that I know I will need often or in the future.

I now have installed an auto tab discarter extension, so I can keep all those tabs open without using too many resources but still be able to go back to them when I need to.
The thrive community forums did it with the word belgium, inspired by the work of Douglas Adams
Couldn’t we just get rid of the animals and just ferment the beans ourselves by using the bacteria in their guts?
It can be found here for anyone wondering: http://loginzlib2vrak5zzpcocc3ouizykn6k5qecgj2tzlnab5wcbqhembyd.onion/ and here: http://zlibrary24tuxziyiyfr7zd46ytefdqbqd2axkmxm4o5374ptpc52fad.onion/
I don’t have a clearnet link since the mirror I’ve been using appears to have been seized, but the onion link should be the most reliable way to access the z-library.

What do leaf blowers do that rakes don’t? I don’t remember the last time I saw or heard a leaf blower.
This one, if by unix he also means modern linux systems. Nowadays you can simply use tar xf my-file.tar.whatever
and it should work on most linux systems (it worked on every modern linux system I’ve tried and every compressed tar file I’ve tried). I don’t think it is hard to remember the xf
part.

In the past I ate a lot of unhealthy snacks, but now I just eat some nuts if I begin yearning for snacks. Also sometimes dried fruit (which probably isn’t healthy in big amounts, but not as bad as cookies, chocolate or chips).

Invidious says it’s geoblocked. Can you describe what the video is about?
What I find interesting is that my bank has kind of the opposite stance. It allows you to do a lot more things if you login via their website and I think they overall trust your actions more if you do it over the browser, but you are required to pass a lot more security checks, while on the app a PIN is enough, but it also doesn’t allow you to do as much.
German has the term raubkopieren for piracy which translated literally means theft-copying. I kind of find that term funny because somehow it makes it sound even worse than just piracy, since with pirates we at least have the pop fiction image of the pirate, and because it has a paradoxical sound to it (“how can you steal something by copying?”).
