The trackers are from the ads. They go hand in hand so I think people mean both when they say ads. Ads tracking you is kinda a given. And if you pay to remove the ads the trackers never load either.

There shouldn’t be a loaded gun anywhere near a film set. That’s the problem, not him practicing his scene between camera rolls
Just release them far away from any power lines
The modern world is the enemy of attention spans, that’s all there is to it I think
You wouldn’t believe it, but people who live in Israel are called Israelis. Very suspicious indeed.
Even with all that disabled there are still ghost profiles of you built. If you shop online at all you are building a fingerprint without the need of trackers.
This might not be a popular opinion, but I had a very short period of time between graduating school and starting work where I needed to learn docker and I found this course: https://serversforhackers.com/shipping-docker to be very helpful, they had a sale and I got the course and it taught me everything I needed in a few days.
You absolutely don’t need a course to learn it, but sometimes these can be easy shortcuts.
althub.co.za has been a decent indexer for ebooks for me. But ebooks are just not as readily available on usenets. And new books are rarely available upon release. I’ll manually download from libgen and import to readarr in those cases.
It’s okay for very small groups of people in my experience. I use two servers with like ~10 active users in total. We use the server as a way to keep group text-like conversations more organized in different channels based on topic and the added benefit of voice calls and chat bots.
Large communities for it are awful, it becomes an even harder to read Twitch chat in active channels.

I want to throw Nextcloud into the mix, but I haven’t gotten the motivation to do that yet. I have 102TB of disk on a 4 node kubernetes cluster just for fun
The dev is not tracking anything. Google ads is… and like the other comment said if you have Google Play on an android phone then you’re being tracked.
I’d wager most people complaining about sync also have a Gmail account or shop on Amazon, or watch YouTube, or a million other equally or more invasive stuff.
