Sounds like coil whining to me too, albeit a pretty loud one. It’s typically GPUs and / or PSUs that are the culprit when they’re under load.

Of course there comes the Minecraft comparison. Which also conveniently ignores the fact that Minecraft can run incredibly fast using certain performance mods. It’s not Java, it’s just shitty programming / code that hogs its performance.
It’s not Vodafone but someone using Vodafones network.
You do you but it also means that if they suspect you of illegal downloads or streams and get that court order, that they’ll log that shit and then you’ll receive those lovely letters eventually, making the whole point of the VPN pointless.
NordVPN will log and share your data if ordered by court. They’ve confessed as much last year.
Mostly just streaming, maybe some direct downloads i like paywalled / premium OC. I couldn’t really afford either anyway so I can’t say I feel too bad about it. If VoD providers wouldn’t have turned out to be so garbage I might’ve gotten one of them, but not if that means I can’t watch everything anyway. Like what’s the point? I’m not gonna subscribe to everyone or hop around services. Exclusive content kinda killed them in my eyes.
I avoid Chinese products as much as possible in general, but especially things that could be privacy risks.
More trustworthy too.
A Chinese app handling my clipboard? What could possibly go wrong.
One of the many reasons why I will never return to Windows.
Shady browser from a shady company.
So Motorola is basically just another Chinese brand now.
China isn’t particularly well known for its quality products, especially over longer periods of time.
Which can be easily circumvented.
There’s literally no way to enforce this.
The watches themselves are already ugly as hell though. The Samsung ones look better but from what I heard have massive software issues and require a Samsung phone to make use of all the features. Can’t really say I see anything really alluring on the smartwatch market at the moment.
Wouldn’t the equivalent be some illegal streaming sites?
Oh, people pay for that?
ELI5 what Plex Sharing is? Is it “stealing” of media files on unsecured PLEX servers? People freely offering of media hosted on Plex servers? And why Plex of all things anyway?
Edit: We ARE talking about the media server software, right?
It’s even worse. It only works based on your IP address. If you sit behind a VPN it shows you the weather data of your VPN’s server location… You can add custom locations, but you cannot default them to be used within the little weather widget. So it keeps showing me the weather and temperatures somewhere in Sweden, which are vastly different from the ones here in Germany. It’s completely idiotic and I just don’t understand why this is a thing.
