What you’re doing is wasting people’s time.
What you’re doing is wasting people’s time.
Essential but not a guarantee of a good time.

Y’know this guy seems intelligent enough to come up with this scheme, but not intelligent enough to keep a low profile. I honestly don’t understand that.
Personally, I’d do the math to pay myself a living wage with this so that my actual work salary is nothing but a cherry on top; manage it so it seems like hype is ebbing and flowing in a natural way. If you ever figure out a way to break the system like this, you should never act in a way that draws attention to yourself.
If you don’t mind trading sound quality for convenience, I suppose. Bose has been a snake oil provider for decades.
I see what you did there.
I’d argue this as well. I see it in a similar way. Linus is obviously not trying to sit on some high horse and condemn piracy, he’s just calling a spade a spade.
New account = new TOS I imagine?
Nobara is a good alternative to the alternative of the alternative.
The Reddit hive mind behaviour is seeping through the cracks.
For me personally, the experience is allowed to take a hit, hell even a major hit, if the browser respects me as a user. FF seems to be better on that front although I’ll confess I use Vanadium on my phone. Its GrapheneOS’ default browser.
Have you not heard of the Steam Deck? Steam’s own hardware is running Linux for gaming… SteamOS is Linux…
KDE really is nice. It can be a little bit buggy when messing with themes and panels and stuff but overall its nice. I’ve got it looking like waybar and I’m really enjoying it.
Is there a single non nefarious use case for deepfake technology? I honestly can’t think of anything.
You’ve got the burden of proof backwards, pal.
Can someone help me understand this meme format? Why is it “no one:”? Shouldn’t it be “everyone:”?
I get the joke in general but the words make no sense to me.
Also:
Search engine quality determined exclusively by the folks that consistently mistake their Facebook status update field for a search engine.
Surely this is satire… Right?
Don’t underestimate him. He’s shown he’s a spoiled brat, but he’s not shown that he’s incapable of elaborate and spiteful plots to get his way.
A smart decision in his eyes might be a dumb one in ours but that doesn’t mean he’s actually stupid.
Writing him off as an idiot is a one way ticket to being blindsided while you’re distracted by something else.
That depends on your use case for desktop linux of course. For me, yabridge is the tool I needed to run VSTs on Linux. Its CLI only as far as I know.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m not afraid of the CLI. Its just some tools are assuming the end user is a server admin or someone with deeper than the upper crust knowledge of how Linux works.
Maybe you should pay attention then.
