There was never any such ideas being part of it. It affected plantlife and bacteria as well. The idea of a soul to begin with is not even supported by science, although most people consider it to have some kind of validity, even if it’s not quite definable. The real goal that the community should be working on is to strengthen the political efforts to give people the rights to do whatever they want with phones they PURCHASE, and prohibit manufacturers from locking them down so the OWNER can’t make any changes. I would totally accept that it voids the warranty because they can’t cover all the bricked devices that result from reckless modding… but there should not be allowed any barriers between the OWNER and the software within.

And the reason for my emphasis of certain words is that the corporate world is really truly beginning to indulge the delusion that nobody ever owns anything and that purchases consumers make are merely the manufacturer granting them the privilege of indefinite loan. It all needs to stop hard and now.

Just don’t buy the cheap pieces of crap at the checkout counter at 7Eleven, or the ones from China that are 25¢ per dozen on Amazon, and you’re probably okay. Get a recognized brand one on sale or closeout etc.

That site is like an asylum. I tried looking but it’s an absolute mess. It’s fine though this was sort of a if I can I will kind of project. I have plenty more devices to tinker with. Like too many lol.

I like it. It’s fine if I can’t get any custom rom onto it. It’s not my main phone I don’t even use it as a phone. It’s just a supplemental gadget.

Also, to suggest that its age means it should be replaced is a horrible attitude. This thing can serve so many purposes including even as a main phone if someone didn’t need too much. Your attitude is why the planet is falling apart.

They don’t have the Galaxy Note 3 listed in the devices. However, numerous websites state that 18 works on it. Are they all wrong? I would believe if you told me it simply cannot be done. I don’t know what to believe anymore since there are a million sites that are full of shit as it is.

Yeah you know what, that’s already too much hassle. What I really want is to optimize it by getting rid of bloat. However, if I do all that I can without rooting and it runs fairly well then it will suffice. Thank you for response and to everyone else who responded.
