Unless there’s some fantastic game-changing functionality provided by the app, I’m fine with the webpage. I have a pi-hole at home that further enhances the “no ads” experience.
I didn’t use an app on reddit, either - old.reddit only! I left reddit and joined lemmy because fuck spez!
Using Jerboa I get infinite scroll and a more usable layout. The website works ok, but there’s lots of room for improvement.
All the stuff at the top on lemmy web page gets turned into buttons on the top and bottom of my phone that I don’t have to scroll up for. Vote buttons are big enough to hit easily. Titles flow on top of Images so I see more than a thumbnail without tapping.

Deranged developer known to call everyone a harasser, troll, complicit in swatting et al while being a witch hunting harassment gang leader on internet. I would not touch anything he or his acolytes make with a 100 foot pole.
Last I heard, he had stepped down as a developer.
Last I knew, he has never spoken a word of truth when making accusations, and even when he claimed to have stepped down, he never apologised to Louis or any of us entities he with his gang harassed and witch hunted, and there was an insane level of censorship during and after the days on his Discourse forum when he claimed to have left. This was the time people were questioning him, his presence, his project’s future and the whole incident.
The Lemmy mobile app is excellent. I never feel a need to download an app to browse on mobile.
